Green Screen Studio Hire in Central London

If you’re looking for a green screen shoot that’s easy to key, just let us know before the shoot. Nine Elms Studio's chroma key setup is a 2.3 metre tall Manfrotto wall and floor, built and ready to shoot for when your crew arrives.

The colour is consistent edge to edge, the surface is seamless, and there's enough width to wrap around your subject for a clean key from multiple angles. It has everything you need to shoot footage that comps cleanly in post.

If you’re looking for a full green studio, just let us know and we can organise a wall repaint for an additional cost.

The Set-up

Chroma Key Backdrop

Nine Elms Studio uses the Manfrotto Panoramic Background, a 4m wide, 2.3m high chroma key green screen. The side panels fold in to wrap around your subject, which removes the corner seams and shadow traps you get with a flat backdrop, and gives you enough width to shoot multiple angles, a small group, or a product table without repositioning the wall. The fabric has a brushed, non-reflective finish, so there's minimal green spill onto talent even at a working distance.

Chroma Key Floor

For shoots that need the green to run under your subject's feet as well as behind them, Nine Elms Studio pairs the wall with two Manfrotto vinyl floor strips, joined to create a continuous 2.74m x 4m chroma key floor. The vinyl has a matte finish to prevent reflections during keying, and it's wipe-clean and crease-free, so it stays flat and seamless with the wall, which is useful for full-body shots, product demos, or anything with movement.

Prefer a Painted Colour Instead?

If green screen isn't the right fit and you'd rather shoot against a solid painted colour, Nine Elms Studio can repaint the infinity wall for an extra cost. Just mention it when you book and the team will confirm availability and timing.

What It's Used For

The wraparound wall and floor combination works well as a green screen studio for:

  • Presenter and interview shoots that need a clean key for virtual sets or branded backgrounds

  • E-learning and training content See how this fits into the production packages on offer

  • Product shoots where the item will be composited onto a different background later

  • Live streaming, with the background swapped for graphics or a virtual set in real time Check out our streaming studio page.

  • VFX and compositing work for film and video that needs a genuinely clean key.
